Hi! I’m Kirsty Clover, a passionate and dedicated individual whose love for running knows no bounds! My journey into the running world started relatively late in life, when, at the age of 46, I trained to complete my first Park Run. Fast forward a few years and I was very proud to represent my country in Triathlon as a member of Team GB age group. I also secured a coveted Good for Age place in the London Marathon World Championships.
My affinity for running stems from a deep-seated love for the sport’s transformative powers. I believe in the joy that running brings, both physically and mentally.
In my role as a run leader, I aim to foster a supportive and inclusive environment for runners of all levels. Join me on the trails and let my contagious love for running inspire you to reach new heights in your own running journey!

I have always loved the outdoors. Camping and coastal walks were my favoured childhood activities and I spent most of my teenage years staying on a farm helping with all the outdoor jobs.
A bit of a late bloomer, I bought my first trail shoes about 5 years ago when the opportunity to join a running holiday in Slovenia and Croatia arose. I just love the freedom of jogging along in nature, with epic views and great company, and absolutely no pressure on pace or distance.
I have a lot of experience at attending running holidays! Each time appreciating the opportunity to be immersed in the rural lifestyle and cultures that venturing off the beaten track provides. It’s a cliche, but the camaraderie of trail runners is legendary – so many friends have been made on these trips!
I am very motivated to continue to improve my running and this year won the Gold medal in the British Masters Marathon Championships. I am however happiest on a trail at a much gentler pace, often with a pack filled with snacks because I just don’t know exactly when I am coming back!

For many years, long-distance running has been my passion, taking me from familiar roads to uncharted trails. The joy of exploration, the camaraderie of shared runs, and the thrill of pushing my limits have shaped my journey.
Trail running holds a special place in my running journey. Guiding others on these adventures has enriched my experience, fostering a shared sense of discovery and connection. Long-distance running is more than a sport; it’s about perseverance and self-discovery…..a gift that keeps on giving!
